A mink on rocks

Most of the pictures I took of this mink are fuzzy from motion blur or are out of focus. These fellows are fast. He did pause for a moment, staring and sniffing as it tried to decide how big a danger I was.

This is a second encounter with a mink.They love water, are smaller then an otter or beaver and have partially webbed feet and a white chin patch. I’m eager to learn more about them, and will say more later…

    They sure are cute–that is a great pic. Aren’t they known for their vicious tempers?
